Among the main activities at Serving Islam Team (HK) is to engage with friendly discussions with people of different faiths and backgrounds. It helps a lot when we gain knowledge about each other’s beliefs so that we may develop respect and love towards one another. In the past few years we have had various interfaith discussions on various topics such as ‘Understanding Islam & Christianity’, Jesus Christ in Islam & Christianity, Fasting in Islamic and Christian perspective with different Pastors in Hong Kong. Also we had a wonderful interfaith dialogue between Dr. Bilal Philips and Dr. John LeMond on the concept of salvation in Islam and Christianity. And lastly, we have also co-organized an interfaith dialogue that took place in Hong Kong University on the topic of Religion & human rights where Sheikh Fadel Soliman was invited all the way from Egypt to represent Islam along with Imam Arshad of Hong Kong. We always welcome Church groups, individuals and religious leaders in our center and we always encourage these dialogues. So if anyone is interested in co-organizing similar events, please contact us.
